Against the backdrop of a highly unstable Russian empire fraught with political upheaval and civil unrest, Grigori Rasputin’s fiery teenage daughter, Maria, narrates the last days of the notorious mystic’s life in St Petersburg in December 1916. Dispelling the myths surrounding the death of the trusted advisor to Tsar Nicholas and Tsaritsa Alexandra, author Alexander proposes an answer to the question of how he was actually killed.
